I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I graduated from Kyiv National Economic University and built my career at L’Oréal. Later, I moved to Global Fashion Group (similar to Farfetch) — first as Operations Director and eventually as CEO of the company.

One day I realized I was completely burned out. I left the company in December 2021 with no safety net, wanting to take a break, finish my courses and studies, and then, once I understood what I truly wanted in life, start looking for a new job.

On February 6th, I left Ukraine for Central America (I’ve always loved Latin America), planning to return on February 24th. But as it turned out, my ticket home coincided with the start of the war. On that day I was in Panama, and I ended up staying there. For the next two years, I lived and worked in Panama.

It took a lot of personal growth and uncomfortable action to find a good job there without knowing Spanish or having a professional network. But I managed — within three months, I became the E-commerce Director for Pandora in Latin America. It was a contract role, and while working there I always knew it was temporary. I began preparing my documents for the U.S., and when my contract ended, I moved to Los Angeles.

Why LA? When I first got stranded in Panama, I had only one suitcase. I didn’t need warm clothes, and after two years there, I realized how important the sun was to me. That’s why I chose LA. I’ll admit, it wasn’t love at first sight — not with LA, and not with the U.S. It took me almost eight months to find a good job here. Titles from other countries don’t carry much weight in the U.S., and I underestimated the stress of going through two immigrations within 3 years.

I eventually worked as Director of Growth at Accel Club (an Amazon accelerator), where I co-created a dog supplement brand called Pawgress. After finishing that project, I started my own agency, where I help founders build and scale in the U.S. The reason I launched it is because I realized many European and international founders often misinterpret the U.S. market — and that’s why they fail. I saw this firsthand while working on the Pawgress brand. Now I love what I do, and it also gives me freedom.

On a personal note, I come from a family that has always worked with the land. They taught me hard work, a love for fruits, vegetables, and nature. I love traveling, and I’m always up for a road trip. I also enjoy beauty, art, stargazing (I even became a member of the LA Astronomical Society), flowers, good books, and of course — time with my friends.

I’ve never been married and don’t have kids. In the past, my relationships didn’t last long because I wasn’t ready and was very focused on my career. But now I feel ready.

I love sports, traveling, a good book, apple and cherry pies, stars, flowers, being in nature, meditation, baking and cooking sometimes, the ocean, and the sun. I love learning new things, right now I am taking improvisation classes here in la, in Panama I was dancing Flamenco and surfing)).
