Meet Olena

I was born in Lviv and grew up in Kyiv, where I moved with my family when I was three. Music was a big part of my childhood: I studied piano for ten years, graduated from music school with honors, and spent ten years singing in a choir that toured across Europe. I even considered studying at a conservatory, but realised I wanted music to remain something I did for the joy of it, so I chose publishing and journalism instead. Around the same time, in 2010, I picked up a camera and began my journey as a photographer, eventually finding my place in fashion photography in 2016. I haven’t played piano in years, but I would love to get one someday and rediscover that part of myself. In 2021, I moved to the Netherlands to improve my English and enrolled in a Creative Business program near Amsterdam. When the full-scale war began in 2022, it reminded me how precious time is, and I followed my passion to Paris for a one-year fashion photography program. I went on to photograph street style at fashion weeks, work with magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel and Vogue, and take part in a group exhibition in Berlin featuring my work on a Ukrainian theme. Recently, I’ve taken a break from commercial photography to spend more time with my family and support Ukraine, while thinking about a future solo exhibition and studying business and marketing. My family lives in Ukraine, and I hope to share my life with someone who understands why visiting them and continuing my charitable work will always matter to me.

My ideal partner is emotionally mature, knows what he wants, ambitious, reliable, generous, attentive, with a sense of humour, family values. He takes initiative, keeps his word, communicates openly. He is ready for serious relationship, marriage, creating a family with at least 1 child. He makes me feel loved, respected, secure. He enjoys travel and life.
